Surfing barrels without the bored(om)
After living at the the beach for a number of years and then moving a few hours from the closest beach, I now realise what I am missing! It doesn't take long for the thrill of getting slotted in a deep, hollow green tube to overtake everything.
It sure is hard to concentrate on the work at hand when you are aware that some people, somewhere are getting barrel rides. It is times like these, when you can't get to the waves, that the next best thing is to see pictures of others getting awesome pits. Who knows, you might get a lucky break too.
